Today was the Poker Runs America, Cape Coral event. The SW Florida weather did not
disappoint, it was warm and sunny, with temps around 72 and Northwest winds around
10 knots.
I was at the Lighthouse at Boca Grande Pass. The shots contain:
all the boats that came in from the Gulf, through the pass
the lighthouse and surrounding area
the phosphate pier
the chapel
the range light, lighthouse
Banyan street, so called due to the Banyans that line it
the causeway swing bridge, in an open position
Lemon Bay just north of the swing bridge

I did not see anyting close to those speeds. I was at Boca Grande pass, and everyone slowed as they made the turn around the Johnson Shoals, running about 60 through the pass. Those I saw acted in a safe and responsible manner, in the turn and throught the pass.

Great pictures!! I was staying right over in harbor preserve over spring break. Had no idea there was a run going on. I saw an outerlimits and a hustler at the rum runners ramp as I was loading my friends 200 speedster on the trailer. Who ever that is, boats looked awesome and sounded even better!
