Default Anyone tried a Bravo Shorty on a 24?

I'm curious if anyone has tried a shorty drive on a 24. I'm looking for total top end speed, don't care about mid range or getting on place quickly. The stock 24 X demension seems conservative. This is an OPA class 6 raceboat.
Thanks for your reponses!

I know of 1 with a blackhawk and it runs pretty darn good. I am sure Joe or Wayne ( Sunsation ) could give you the low down on what works

I had an Imco SC -2" on a 1997 Aggressor and then on a 2001 Aggressor.

Were there any speed gains with either the Blackhawk or the SC? Any handling issues?
Thanks for the responses.

I cant say for sure what the speed gains were because I went with bigger power at the same time. The boat was more flighty where it had a very connected feel. I did not have to trim up an all where I had to use quite a bit of trim before. I was not boating on any big water so it worked great for me.

Do an extension box, there's a reason they're popular with the racers.

Default stock works best

ran a 2'' shorty, 5 blade . worked good up to 90 on the Ohio river. Lake Erie with 3 to 4 footers it sucked. went back to stock length. that seams to work best all around.

Rising, thanks for the first hand feedback, since several of the races are in the Ocean, I've decided to leave it at the stock Bravo I height. Although I would love to try a Blackhawk someday!
