One thing I can almost gaurantee is that they will leak. Mine leak no matter what I have tried. The only way to stop mine from leaking is to run a bead of silicone around them before locking them down. The bad thing about that is you need dynamite to get them back off. So much for easy 2 bolt removing of the covers.

I believe the only ones that leaked were a bad run years ago that were produced by one of the buyers of Keith's business. This was before Hardin bought the company. Before you order from CP/Hardin/KEPP you might price the real Keith Eickert newest 2 pc VC system. They are OSO advertisers, Lightning Performance Group 386 793 6158. They appear to take this already nice product to the next level.

I have been using them for years with both stud mounted rockers and Jesel and T and D shaft rockers. I've put the on Dart's, Brodix, AFR's, etc. However, I have also had them leak.
I mill a groove in the base rail to help the oil drain from the rail. They have now come out with a rubber gasket that sits in the base. The cover sits down on top of it and should seal it up permenantly. I don't know if it can be put on older ones. I'm not sure if they are milling the base differently to accept the gasket. I will take some pics tomorrow of the gasket.

I have Jesels on mine as well. And mine also leak.
I usually just run some RTV silicone around them, messy but it stops the leak. I never thought about putting a gasket on the bottom, I may make one up and try it out this season.
