Default WTB: 40' Skater w/o Power/Drives

Hey boys...

Looking for a 40' Skater.

FlatDeck/Classic (Doesn't Matter to me)

I don't care about paint. I'd prefer an all white hull.

NO POWER.

I already have 6s and Gimbals so doesn't matter if those are included.

Preferably without Drives and Motors.

I'd like it to be a 2000+ with good tanks, or the fuel tank upgrade.

Was looking at the boat at nationalliqudators but I was told it was sold last week, just missed it. Any leads?

PM me.

Thank You

-Madhatter

Pat,
I've been watching the 40 market for some time. Finding that in a 2000+ is a tough one. Although if you go older the insurance goes up considerably too. You probably know this, but keep in mind 2000+ doesn't mean good tanks.

Monopoly was the boat to do this with, too bad you missed out on it...

Any bites on the OL?

BTW, Jim's (Thumper's) 40 might be worth looking into. His is a little older and needs the cockpit conversion, but also has nice dry sump 6's which could be kept or sold to offset the cost.

I know they want to move the old recovery boat pretty bad. It had damage, but was repaired. If the repairs check out (and I have no idea on who did the work), it could be worth looking at.

Aware of all of this, just had a nice talk with Blume.

Great guy!

Going to poke around...everything's up in the air....

My engines are done, so we'll see.

I know the years of the tank issues...but thanks !

Default Option...

I kknow your looking for a Skater, but a great deal could probably be had on that 40 MTI PBB has if you asked them to remove the 6's...

Probably go in the mid 100"s...

2005 I think, 4 seater and all white...

Just saying...

There is a 40' Skater flatdeck no motors no power no trailer here in So Cal at National Liquidators. Model year 2000. Pretty nice. Bank is not being practical at the moment so $95k will get it......

Quiet a bit more than the Monopoly boat that went for $58k several weeks back but not as high as the $110k 39' MTI "Fenom" no motors no drives (haha) and no trailer.

I wondered what that sold for. When it was first listed at $75k I called them and said I'd take it for the full $75k and wanted to know where and to who I needed to send the money to. I didn't hear back from them and the price was changed to $150k a day or two later.
