Default Harrison twp michigan race.

Looking for some feedback im working with beacon cove marina to raise the money to put the the race on .
The weekend july 9 will be the date if all goes well.
Would like to get roll call of who will show.
Thanks Gary p-f-e racing

Let me change the question so every body dosent get all worked up.
Who would be willing to come and race here no reason to do all the work to put on a race if nobody is going to show just trying to get a possible head count.

Received this e-mail from OPA the other day, I'm confused

Welcome to the 2011 OPA racing season!
The schedule is complete and by now all of the racers packets have been mailed out to all boat owners. Please call your boat owner for the 2011 OPA paperwork. If you did not receive any paperwork then you can download it from the OPA web site. In order to receive you FREE OPTIMA BATTERIES you must be paid in full with OPA before May 1st. More information to follow on how to acquire your new batteries. The cost this year for each boat registration is a fee of $1000 per boat and $150 for each OPA member. Please send all checks to the OPA Racing, PO Box 941, Matawan, NJ 07747. If you need to use a credit card then please call Alan Petitt for processing at 732-616-8764.

We are looking to do the 3 Michigan races all in a row..

Harrison July 8-10th

St Clair July 29-31

Port Huron Aug. 5-7

It's always been in the works, just not really mentioned like the red-headed stepchild (or a Jersey Relative) ...

Can we assume this is a Great Lakes Club race (since it is NOT on the OPA schedule) and not an OPA points race? Please clarify!

At this time it would be a OPA Points event.

Also a small 3 race series withing a series is being worked out.

OPA Midwest championship, to top teams from each class racing those 3 events will be eligible for great grand prizes!! Such as a Large Pizza, 24 Cold Beers.. and much more.

At this point the schedule is as listed. Gary has his carriage in front of his horse. They have an interest in putting together Harrison, and should firm up with OPA first.

Providing the carrera is finished which it most likely will be, we'd for sure be in for class 6 at the Harrison twp. race!
