The complete story is running in the next issue of Powerboat, which is going to press tomorrow. I wrote it for Powerboat and was paid by Powerboat, so I can't publish it all here. But editor Jason Johnson graciously gave me the OK to release some of it here.

I can say categorically Reggie Fountain was not talking about Outerlimits in reference to the cat project.

At one moment, the "mean" part of me thought of calling my story, "Copy Cat Killer," but I'm not sure the joke would have gone over so well.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did something with Peter and Skater I believe they have worked together on other items in the past...

I remember the old Fountain/Scism Cat that they did years ago without much success, so building a Cat isn't as much of a stretch as a lot of people would think....

Don't think of Outerlimits as really a player in the Cat market, yes they've made a few really neat boats but they would fall in the same place as the Statement Cat... Nice boat but not many of them out there...
