Jerry McConnell Memorial Poker Run - Cleveland, Ohio June 10-12
Hi Folks,
We've decided to rename the annual wiener run in honor of our friend, Jerry McConnell, who passed after a brief but heroic fight with cancer last year. And what better way to remember him than with fast boats, cold beer, good music and hot women?
This year's run will be a three-day event based out of Lakeside Yacht Club in Cleveland, Ohio. We will have a live band on the deck Friday and Saturday nights (Run Avril Run returns to headline Saturday night!! Hear them at http://www.runavrilrun.com/) and live music at the pool on Sunday. There will be drink specials throughout the weekend and lots of good food, including LYC's famous all-Timmy-can-eat stir fry dinner on Saturday and brunch on Sunday (Dude!). Docking for Friday and Saturday is included so make it a weekend!
The run itself will take place on Saturday with confirmed stops at the Jackelope in Lorain and Christies Cabaret on the Cuyahoga River. We blew Christies away last year and they promise to blow us away this year with more girls, girls on the deck and on your boat in bikinis, girls on outside poles and in kiddy pools, and "interactive games" with the girls - I'm not sure what that all means, but I'm sure I will be carrying a big bag of singles!!
Registration will be limited to 70 boats so register soon to get your spot. We will be posting registration materials at www.lakesideyachtclub.com within the week. Send your questions to [email protected]. Come join us as we raise our glasses to Jerry and participate in the sport we all love so well.
