Default 1979 Excalibur - Mint (Back to the Future)

Thought I would share with everyone my Pops '79 Excalibur owned since new, and still in his posession. Many hours in the garage/fabricating have been spent on this machine. Some specs - 468 BBC, full power assist hydraulic steering, 4blade, runs in lower to mid 70's, wiped down after every run.

Enjoy -

Mike

still love the old Excaliburs, at that time my next door neighbor was Bill Farmer, owner of Excalibur Boats. My dad worked for Chris Craft at the time and between us and Bill we always had some cool boat down at the dock. looks like your dad has loved and cared for her all this time, she's a beautiful ride.

thank you for the compliment. yeah, he has spent many many hours on it. 'LOVE' is a understatement! given he is an engineer by trade, he has fabricated alot of new boat features onto this oldy - i.e. sea-strainer, extended trim-tabs, exhaust temp, custom exhaust, the list goes on..

Thank you. Will get more pictures, updates include fully polished external mufflers.

Also, believe I have a video somewhere, will try to dig it up when I get home.

Usually we put in at in St. Clair, then run up the river to Port Huron.

Not much usage over the past few years. Growing up, I remember a lot of 'Blasts' across the lake right before sunset. Can't help but put a big smile on your face!

Man, something has to be said for those older Excaliburs. They shine on me even though I usually go for 30-40ft boats.
