anyone know of a website like Mapquest, or google maps that you can get directions for truck routes..... I would love to plot a few courses for summer travels with the boat but can't find anywhere to do it......the only option they all seem to have is to eliminate all highways........I just want to eliminate parkways, and non-truck routes......

Not sure on websites but I have a PC Miler truck specific GPS that I use to warn me about routing limitations while traveling. It works OK but I don't trust it 100% so I alwaystry to get additional confirmations. You can program a profile into it with vehicle width, height, etc and it's supposed to warn you of potential problems. It does a good job of warning about overwide limitations like the NJ Parkway, etc and it did warn me about a low bridge in SC once. It also does a decent job of routing on practical truck routes vs automobile routes..............again there's an option in there for filtering all this as needed.
