N/A or forced induction? Probable cheaper to go with a 454 with a whipple than to build a 598 or 632ci N/A motor.

I don't know if it's the cheapest or not, but I have big CI N/A engines in my boat that are making that. Dart tall decks, Callies cranks, Oliver billet rods, J&E pistons, AFR cnc heads,Morel hydraulic rollers, they idle great and after 140 hours have been trouble-free....Knocking on my wooden desk as I type this!!! A leakdown was just done a few weeks ago and all is very good. I have them propped to run WOT at 5800-6000. They made 803HP @ 5900

Find someone that has one already built to those specs. Waiting for his dream boat to come along. Then he loses his job, needs to make his mortgage payment before the bank repos his house and kicks him, his wife and 4 children out on the street. Then give him a call.
