I just figured Id open up this topic, We all know the basics of deadrise, but I figured There was allot of room for discussion, and by that I mean arguments.LOL

I think over the years it has become common knowledge that 24* is the best all around for an affshore V. some people have tried 25*, some 23* and the 24* usually performs better. yes less will be faster in smooth water, more may take a pounding better but 24* is the best of both.
