With current crazy fuel costs, what are you seeing for boat transport? My regular guy always did $2 mile one way,but he said there is no profit in it now.Thoughts?

Definetly try www.uship.com . I've been able to get some amazing deals throughout the years...
Had my 33' Sonic and trailer shipped on a flatbed from TN to Seattle WA for $3900.00 in November '09. Used Uship.com. Just be carefull, even though I said in the ad I wanted it shipped on a flatbed I had lots of cheap offers from guys with a pickup that wanted to tow it all the way. (and would kinda forget to mention that part)
As far as what it would cost now, I don't imagine it's gotten any cheaper.

I've gone up about .15 cents per loaded mile with the last $1 increase in fuel cost from $3ish up to $4ish per gallon. Diesel was in the $4.15 - $4.30 range on the last trip up 95 last week so if it keeps going up I'll probably have to go up another .5 - .10 cents per mile soon.

Surely someone on here would haul it for less than 3/ mile. Maybe start a new thread titled differently. Like looking for a boat hauler or sumpin'
