I am not having any luck with the Dayco belts I am using for my Procharger.....I had a pulley alignment issue and blew a couple of belts, fixed the alignment, obviously it is not ``perfect`` but best I can do with the motor in the boat, limited room to work and eyeball the pullies...... I find that the Dayco belts are fraying at the edge and after a short time they break up and fall to pieces.....what brand are others using...........

Jeremy,, try a Goodyear gatorback,,the material is a little harder and may last longer...you really need to get the belt perfectly aligned or its going to keep happening..the pro-charger's bracket will get out of shape under boost,you can try to fab up a bracket from the 2 front riser studs on your emi's to the back of the pro-charger to keep it from flexing under boost..

I have never worn out or lost a belt. I am
using napa brand "gates maybe". I have over 50 hours on a pair running hard 8-9psi. Good luck.

I will look into the Goodyear, interesting point you make about the bracket "flex" never thought of that.....I am pretty sure I have the pulleys lined up, without using a laser I don't think I can get it any closer.....I will look at shoring up the bracket........

I tried a Gates, same results, I guess I just need to make the adjustments a little better, thanks.

I was having this issue as well. and I ended up removing the spacer Procharger supplies for the crank pulley. I also welded all my spacers to the main charger support bracket. This was to stop any flexing. I'm running a Goodyear belt now and looks like things are good.

I don't have a procharger, but I do have a Magnuson Supercharger on my truck, I tried Dayco, Gates etc, the Gatorback out performs them all. It leaves little dust around the blower snout (where the others left alot) which tells me it's slipping less. they cost about the same, try it.....
