Does anyone have any experience with this motor ? Look at buying a International 4200 with this motor. Has Allison trans.

I have a 2008 motorhome with the VT365 and haven't had any problems. It is the industrial version of the Powerstroke 6.0

the vt 365 is basically the ford 6.0 engine and you know how they have been with blown head gaskets, bad injectors and egr coolers.

the vt365 it the 6.0 and they are de-tuned from the powerstroke version. the heads are really a non issue. mostly a mis-diagnosis of a leaky egr cooler. But then again, I fix them every day and I love them and drive a 6.0 every day! take that for what its worth. but it will need proper updates to be all it can be. little problems here and there on the engines can sometimes stack up to a larger issue. like not running lol... But everything can be fixed!

friend of mine has a mid size roll back....less than 60k but a few years old...engine let go...they are great on service inside kept, not your normal tow truck by any means...family driven by older guys...get the picture...they did nothing for them !! paid for a complete new engine and said would never buy another...
