I've been running a Mirage Plus prop on my Fever and just bought a used (but good) Bravo 1 prop to replace the mirage. When I took the hub out of the mirage and put it in the Bravo prop...the fit was loose. Am I wrong in thinking the hubs should inter change between the mirage and the bravo 1 prop? Thanks in advance for you input.

It should not be loose. Most likely, it's a different hub. That way they can get more money out of ya!!! Call Bblades.com
Make sure when you took your other hub off that some of it is not still in your old prop. There is a couple of peaces.

You may have to replace the snubbers (rubber strips) on the Hub assembly to get it to fit tight. If they are worn the hub can move some. Just google prop hub snubbers, they are cheap and easy to replace.

UD & rgr...I looked all over and couldn't find anything rubber...I've seen kits and know there should be a snubber but if I had one it's gone now. I think I'll just call Brett at BBlades tomorrow to see about a new kit.

I'm pretty sure that if I go to my local HD and ask for anything for my Bravo 1 hub kit...they'll just scratch their head and say"huh?". LOL What or where would I look for in HD to find the strips you mentioned? Thanks.

Ok,
First, you can't just get them at the hardware store.
Second, there are 2 types of "snubber strips". Standard solid inserts have rubber spaggetti strips and the HD has delrin composite strips. The dimentions need to be accurate. The Delrin ones come in a kit which we have in stock at all times. The rubber ones are not available individually as a part number but BBLADES has them because that is our specialty....props.
Rubber strips can be glued but the delrin is different. I could bore you with the development but it isn't that interesting.
Call us and we'll get you taken care of.

You can and i have found the same material at home depot. cut into strip and glue into place. you only need 4 of them. A monkey could do it in 5 min. Or you can pay 25.00 plus shipping and wait a week to get them. not a big deal.
