Default Lucas Gear Lube anybody use

Was at TSC today and they had Lucas 80-90 Gear lube for sale. said hi performance and great for big trucks, outboards etc. It was 7 bucks a qt. Anybody use this stuff how does it compare to the Quicksilver high performance

I'd spend the extra couple bucks per quart for the Merc HP lube, or amsoil. You want a lube that will protect even with a little water ingestion. Merc and amsoil will do that.

yeah i was wondering if there really is any differenace due to them both being dino oils. I know lucas products are pretty good usually. What is the weight of MERC HP anyways

I have a friend that spent 2 years in iraq, The hum vees were over heating running in the 115 degree desert and the only product the he said worked was the lucas product....

thats funny i never saw the stuff over there. I do know lucas has great products
