I am installing a Closed Cooling system on my boat. The engine has been in fresh water for 23 years (300 hours), and this past summer (july and aug) was in salt water (50 hours). Thats it. I bought a Closed Cooling system this week and was wondering what should I do to flush my motor out before installing this system? I heard it is bad to have antifreeze mix with salt. Anything I should do other than run freshwater through the motor before installation. Please help!
Thanks,
Steve.

Jeff THANK YOU! Its awesome. I was done with the system (came out awesome, I really cant thank you enough) but then I got a closed cooling system for short money (new in the box the guy just didnt feel like putting it in). So now this weekend I will put that in and a few other things and the boat is in the water. I think its a great idea considering what salt does to the engines. I will keep you posted, even with pictures.
