Those were some of the most beautiful rocket ships on earth! Made my trip worth it!
Running, the black ZR-48 MTI looked like it should have been manned with SpecOPS guys; at the street party, maybe with pole dancers (had the music and speakers for 'em)!
That green M31 DCB was wicked fast! Video doesn't do it justice.

The other 1350-equipped boat was a Nordic 43 Enforcer. Another DCB with twin 1350s that was supposed to be ready in time for the event was not, hence my confusion and miscount.
So ... there were seven pairs of Mercury Racing 1350s in boats at Desert Storm, still a very respectable number. I have made the corrections in my story and its headline on speedonthewater.com. I'll ask admin on offshoreonly to change it on the thread as well.
