Hey guys, I'm looking for a basic wiring diagram for tripple axle trailer, anyone have one? While working on my trailer lights, I found a white wire that doesn't seem to be going to anything, looks like it might have been cut(not clean cut), wire is expossed at the end....Whatcha think?

Hey also, behind the reciever there is a silonoid for make sure when I back the trailer up the brakes don't lock. On that is a little rubber hose, where does that go?

white most the time is ground.

google it and it shows right up !

You should have a flat 5 plug.
White=Ground
Brown=Running lights
Green=Right turn/Brake
Yellow=Left turn/Brake
Purple or Blue=Brake Lock out. hooked to the tow vehical back up lights.
You could use a 7 way rv plug also. The brake lockout will connect to the center terminal on the plug.

White is the ground... on my trailer the rubber hose goes from the solenoid to the cap of the brake reservoir.

Right now I'm having some wiring issues, only lights that are working are the 2 back ones, I need to check the builbs and connections on the others. So anyways with the 2 back working I checked to see if they function correctly, they don't.

Running lights = ok
hazards = ok
Left turn signal = both sides blink
Right turn signal = no blinks
Step on brakes = no lights at all
Let go of brake = lights back on

Any ideas?

Also that white wire is a ground I beleive. I didn't attach it to any thing and the lights still worked. Could I mabye have the wrong type of plug setup? I'll take pics of everything tommorrow.

Make sure you have a good ground connection. I fought with mine and it was doing some crazy stuff. Found out I had a bad ground and problem was solved.

Where should I ground that wire too?

Some people just screw it to the trailer and hope that the coupler makes the ground to the vehicle. Very unreliable due to grease, paint, loose fit, etc. You should run ground to your trailer plug so it connects to your vehicle's grounded trailer receptacle.
