Default 03-07 GM trucks blowing hot air on driver side

Has anybody else had this problem. Its a Hummer H2 with digital dual zone climate control. Blows cold on passenger side and hot on drivers side. Looks like when I changed the battery it messed up the ac controls.

you have to scan for codes first,,then you will find you have a bad door actuator or you have to reconfigure the actuators, most likely a bad temp door actuator on l/s side

low on freon will also cause one side to be cold and one side hot.

What about if you always have cool air blowing on the passenger side? 01' suburban. There seems to be an air leak and when the heat is off in the winter, there's a cold draft on the passenger side. I know because my wife always *****es her feet get cold. lol

There is an air leak where the hvac case protudes through the cowl. Remove cowl covers and wipers, then you have to cut through the seam sealer that hides the access cover. Silicone around the plastic neck that sticks through the steel cowl.
As far as the different air temps, you can recal. the actuators w/the tech2, but failed temp door actuators are VERY common with these trucks.

Fixed the hot air issue. Turned climate control on auto. One side on hot one side on cold shut engine off. Turn engine backon. Reverse the setting hit auto again. Shut truck off for a few mins. Restart with both on cold problem fixed! Coputer needed to reset from battery being replaced.

Now its just not as cold. Looked at the cooling lines going through the cowl and the rubber boot around it is torn and cold air is blowing into engine compartment!

Fixed! Pumped in a can of sub zero 134a. Fixed the hole around the lines going into the firewall. All the heat from the engine compartment was blowing in. Now its ice cold!

mine does this from time to time. Mine doesnt have auto feature though. Thinkin it just needs freon? Is it hard to do yourself?
