Prop inserts, XR or standard bravo

Are Mercury props the same except for the insert? Can I just stick my XR hub into any Bravo prop and roll? Are the XR hubs and standard bravo hubs the same diameter?

Yes you can. I did on four blade props. Don't know about all Merc props but my guess is you can.
