what do you think ? bottom coating

what are your opinions thinking of a tough,slick bottom coating and found this stuff

This looks interesting. Not sure if it's application is aimed more at the hydro or smaller go fast boats where best results are gained? If you continue to look into these please keep us posted and if you talk to a rep or someone about it please ask about smaller size spiderweb type cracking. If those areas would be best to repair prior to the application or if this product is that rock solid. Thanks for the topic.

Do a search on "Super Hydrophobic Coating"
There is some pretty cool stuff out there, but in my opinion nothing is as good as a big set of balls. you have to run it on the edge. Can't say I have the biggest set, but when in doubt stay in the gas.

that should work...the old thinking of a smooth slick surface does not work out in real life...can't break the adheasion from the water..or air..we found this out in the wind tunnel on race cars..dimpled surfaces broke the adheasion and took away drag...works like the steps in the hull by adding bubbles under the boat..thus breaking the adheasion..
