Ilmor for racing?

Ilmor for racing?
What are the chances of Ilmor getting their engines approved for spec class racing? Also is the 570HP still available.
Reason I ask this is that it has come up before in regards to the SVL class. We are powering a new SVL in the next couple of months and although the Merc 525EFI (560-580HP) has been a good motor, options would be nice.
I spoke to JC of SBI about this last year and he suggested that the specs for the engine be submitted to SBI for review. I hope Ilmor will look into this at some point. If approved, we would love to drop one in the next boat built for a side by side comparison.
