Default Help with Cabin Lights

I have a 2001 260. I am trying to replace the cabin lights. How do I remove the trim ring and gain access to the bulbs? The lights I am trying to work on are the flush mounted lights on each side of the cabin not the Lamps on the back wall.

AM I a complete dumb ass or is there something I am missing?
