The ad says it's a Chief. Is this a Bob S. chief? Did this hull work, I have never seen a bottom like this before.

...OMNI boats made a 21' with that same "ventilated/aerated" bottom design around 1985...it was a "speed" improver, as well as, when at rest, the added weight of the water "in" the hull made it more stable...I have never seen a Chief tho...Let us know what ya find out tho...looks like a decent project...fyi...S & Fly had a thread about ventilated bottoms awhile ago...?...

5500 for a stripped no name hull with no trailer..
wish him lots of luck..
on a side note the Carrera 36 raceboat also had vents added to the steps. Picked up some good mph in smooth waters, made no difference in the rough stuff since hull is already ventilated plenty in real waves.

You are so correct. Who needs the written word anyway? We are all being dumbed (I know that's not a word) down with all the text messaging lingo now anyway. It just makes a guy less credible when he can't even correctly spell fuel tank. I thought the boat came with a full tank of fuel when I read the add and I was thinking the value of the fuel was probably more than the boat and that it may be a good deal if it was non-ethanol fuel.
