They are all crooks but you better have a membership with unlimited towing. I use tow boat just because sea blow screwed some boat racers a couple of years ago in miami.

I have unlimited fresh water towing with TowBoatU.S. The one time I had to use them I was very impressed with the service and a long tow from Put-in-Bay to the Detroit River didn't cost me a thing.

You'll get a thousands different opinions on this, but personally Boat-U.S. gets my money!
I tend to believe Boat-U.S. is the better, more honorable outfit based on my experiences and from my recollection of the majority opinion (at least what I perceive to be the majority) of others throughout my years of being a member here.
The additional good thing about Boat-U.S. is that they are so much more than just a for-profit tow company (cough, Sea tow). They are the boater's #1 ally and asset when it comes to government representation and lobbying, and your membership kit is chocked full of all kinds of additional discounts and benefits.

Tow-Boat US, Call and get the unlimited towing, and if your pulling a trailer get trailer assist, great insurance! Around here it seems Sea Tow is always trying too hard to turn every tow into a salvage job.
