Default Help with a Laser sun pad

I had my sun pad or engine compartment cover reupholstered on my 270 Laser and they ended up replacing the base because of softness around the hinges. So I'm now ready to put it back on the boat but don't know where the attachment brackets for the gas struts should be located. I'm sure I could figure it out but just wanted to see if any Laser owners could take a few locator measurements for me. Basically with the sun pad or cover open I'm looking for the distance from the upper edge to the support bracket. Thanks!
