Default So has anyone used the Permanon on a boat?

I have spoken to them and seen the Youtube videos.

They said to wash the boat well and then compound it (recommend 3M PerfectIT) to close up the pores in the surface. That is the secret to the success of the product, otherwise you end up using more product than you need to because it will fill the pores up before sealing and protecting it.

I can't put my finger on it, but I am hesitating on trying it.

I used it by itself, it's decent, but mix it with a 1:1 ratio with Rejex and it worked awesome for me.

If you are using in on Gell then I would be concerned about it sealing the gell?

Now I do a LOT of due diligence with my boat. It gets wiped down right after pulling it out of the water and usually washed that day or the next. I use the mix twice a year, here in TX our season is March to November. So I use an oxidation remover, Leverage is decent but I like Auto Magic the best, then I use the mix, one time in March one time in November. I have yet to see a retail product penetrate that deep or be so tough to withstand the oxidation remover or "seal" the gel, perhaps GlassDave can chime in on a product that can perform as such.
