Can anyone provide a source for replacement Gil riser gaskets? I bought a set, and when I separated the riser from the manifold, there was a metal plate with a cone and a square fiber gasket. The fiber gasket cracked. I suppose I might be able to use some high temp RTV in the joint, since it is a dry joint, but I thought I would see if I can just get a new gasket.
BTW, a buddy of mine has an HP500 with the Gils, and he said his have no riser gasket - just the metal plate. Is the gasket even needed?
Thanks!

Hmmm strange - when I took these apart, there was only one on top of the turbulator.
Like I mentioned, my friend's HP 500 only had the turbulator - no gaskets. That is the way he has always run it. Go figure.

You need two gaskets per side, four total for one engine. One on each side of the turbolator as already stated.
