Default How to get this off paint

Ok car question but thought somebody might have some insight. I have a 2010 camaro and notice some specs all over the hood and front end and some on the sides and back. Figured it might have been sap or something from pines in the yard. So i washed and used turtle wax ice and it was a no go. After further inspection and thinking, I remember driving by people painting yellow lines in the middle of the road, and this is what is it on the black finish of my car. So I went out and Clay bar'd it. It got the majority off of the sides and maybe 50-75% of the front and hood depending on the spot.

Questions anymore ideas to get this chit off. Cleaner wax? Idk

I lot of the time we have had to use the petroleum based cleaners. They are really designed for tar and bugs that wont come off, but that is what i would try. Wax it after you get it off, so that you get some protection back on the paint.

You can also try PPG's DX440 wax and grease remover. Its a bit more agressive then standard stuff and wont hurt the paint.

I would not use Magic eraser on paint or gel. It is like sand paper and will scratch the $hit out of the paint.

We use WD-40 on the rear quarter panels of our drag car. Takes the melted tire rubber off effortlessly. Just re-wax after you wash the stuff off.

You need to go to a Auto paint supply store for the Dupont or PPG.
