I just picked up a new to me used 2007 GMC 2500hd with a Duramax, 42000 miles. THe dealer offered me a Chrysler Powertrain Care Plus extended warranty, 5 yrs with 70,000 miles for $1500. They wanted $2800 for the GMPP warranty.

Has any one had any dealings with the Chrusler extended warranty?

I'm not a fan of extended warranties. There's usually a deductable involved.

Only way I've ever bought them is if you get your money back if you do not use them. Ask and most of the time they will do it.

I will most likely not buy one, but with the newer trucks it gets expensive real fast if there is a problem.
