I'm looking for some input.
How many of you guys have the the lift actuator bracket "through bolted" to the hatch? How many have a glassed in style mount under the hatch that leaves a smooth external look?
I'm fixing to mount up a new hatch and like the security and simplicity of the thru bolt but would rather not see the hardware from the outside. I really hate to drill holes in the hatch but don't trust myself to glass in a mounting assembly.

This is a new raised hatch. I'm starting to think the most secure way is to thru bolt the bracket for the actuator (powered actuator). This is how I did my flat hatch. I won't be putting any sun pads on it to cover up the hardware and would rather show off the hatch and it's lines.
I guess most bracket hardware is covered up by the sun pad??
