I had a post asking for advice on some repairs about 18 months ago and wanted to update. I finally took the old Baja into Dan and the guys at Gelpro a couple weeks ago and just picked her up today. They did a amazing job, like turning the clock back 20 years. Excellent workmanship, and really went the extra mile to find the best color matches for my 22 year old red gelcoat.

I won't deny Dan does good work, but about six years ago he tried to rip me for some cash (more than five bills) and I wouldn't take anything to him again.
Now I take mine to Terry's, he does just as good of job.
Glad your happy with your boat though.

On my project, he came in right on budget, and spent several hours (off the clock) to find some specific materials to as closely match the OEM as possible. Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience, but I couldn't be more pleased with mine.

I was changing a thru hull last weekend and put a scratch in the gel while removing the old silicone with a razor knife. Dan & Butch were able to get that fixed in the time it took to go have lunch and go to west marine. They were getting Dans personal boat ready for the weekend, but found time to fix my problem. That is what I call good customer service
Again GELPRO came through

Glad you had a great experience as well. I've had several projects he repaired for me on new boats and they were beyond my expectations. I referred my buddy to him with ironically a 1993 Baja that had been faded for years for repairs and holes from mounts, etc. being fixed. My friend is anal as ever and when we picked it up he asked Dan, "where was it again?" and Dan replied, not telling, that's my job!!!!!! Funny! And he always is a wealth of knowledge for any questions you might have. Kudos to Gelpro!
