I have been thinking of bleeding off some of the water that goes through the exhaust to make it louder and not as muffled. I have lightning headers, and of course the water mixes with the exhaust close to the collector. Has anyone done this??? If so, what did you use? I was thinking of removing the drain valves at the back of the water tubes below the headers and plumbing 2 lines out the back through a thru hull fitting. I know the correct thing is to buy new headers and pipes, but not an option right now$$!

Would this Hi-Temp exhaust hose be recommended for those looking to restrict (limit) the amount of water being dumped out the collector?

the more volume the better it is for the engine and exhaust !
make shure at all times that the press is also within the recomandations of the engine builder !
everything other ..is just plain stupid. U want it louder ??? Build an engine that is !
