Our 15 years old son and I, lowered the Skater of the lift, did our inspection, and had
another great day of boating. We went out the Myakka River, down Charlotte Harbor,
West to Boca Grande pass, and found a nice quite spot on the beach on Cayo Costa
island. We dropped the anchors in 3-4 feet of water, and really enjoyed the location.

Air temp 91, heat index 99, beach water temp 90+, winds SW 10, and bright blue skies.

We went a total of 51.5 miles, burned 21.9 gallons of 93 octane, for a 2.35 avg mpg.

I'm planning on much the same agenda tomorrow up here on Lake Ontario - with my son too of course. Time with your kids on a boat - priceless.
