Has anyone gone thru this?
Whats the max RPMs for the stock merc alternator and power steering pump on a ...serpentine 502 belt setup. Im turning 6400-6600 rpms and the accessories are starting to come apart. I do run a cooler on the power steering... it's starting to burn oil and the alternator pulley is coming off.

No one has had this problem?

Going to a larger pulley on the pump and alternator would slow them down, you just may need to get a slightly longer belt

Mercury racing says 5000 rpms for continues running.
