Default Houston we have a problem!

I have a 87 Formula SR-311. Took it to my dads house on sunday since he lives on a canal. Had the drives all the way up and was still dredging up a lot of muck. Both engines started to got hot so I shut them down to cool off once back out on the water. Fired it up and took off to clean the inlet screens of any weeds or lily pads. The port engine started cooling again but the starboard one didn't. Did I clog the inlet filter?

you either plugged something up or smoked a water pump impeller, most likely a impeller, Smitty

Thanks. I'm hoping I just plugged up the filter cause that water pump is pretty new.
