Default Trying to find an oil filter adaptor

I am rebuilding the 454/420 in my formula due in part to a failure from my oil filter adapter. According to mercruiserparts.com, the part I need is a 48504T2. The price is beyond astronomical though for what this is. Is there an updated part number that is more reasonable? Heck, a used one would be just fine as long as it isn't cracked like mine and pouring oil out of it. If anybody has a source for these, please let me know, I am really trying to have the boat in the water for the 4th of July.

Thanks,

Matt

Is it this one? This is a standard BBC remote adapter.

Sorry, my description kind of sucks. The part I need is the piece that the oil filter screws onto that mounts above the bellhousing and has two hoses going into it. I think I am going to drill mine and tap for a 1/2 NPT and put a plug in it. Looks like there is plenty of material and should seal up fine.

What I am looking for is part 1 in this picture:
