Default Finally had time to go pick up my boat

Its a baja 220 force with a 454/bravo1 setup. I have to do some tlc before I bring it out on the water, but I'm very happy with the deal thus far. One thing I found odd is the previous owner (his first boat) had to replace prop and he put a 15x16 4 blade alum prop on the boat. I don't remember seeing a name on it. I was told I will be in the area of a 21 mirage plus prop. My question is about the prop ony being a 16 pitch? Does that sound right? I've never had a 4 blade on any of my other boats so I'm not sure of the advantage of a 4 blade.

Here is a pic after getting the boat loaded on the truck and starting the 5 hour drive home.

Thanks

Sounds like he put a cheap aluminum prop on it. Carefull not to over rev the engine with that prop. Max recommended rpm for that engine is 44-4600 rpm. If it will run higher than that then you need more pitch. 21 mirage plus sounds right for that boat.
