I have wanted a 342 for a long time, but keep my eyes open to other brands that have similar options.
I maining boat on river, sleep over night alot, and anchor out alot.
So vacuflush head, AC, and a windshield is a must.
pretty sold on a 342 with 502's and the options above, but then ran across some PQ's with same power and lots of room, and options.
How would these boats compair? speed, gas milage, handeling? (38s a big boat! haha), trailering?, room?

Man, dido to everything. Sounds like me exactly. Have been looking at 342 for ever. Verbi bought a pq 38 and has good things to say about them. Also a lot more PQ boats had the blue mercury motors in them which i also like!
I want to know all the same!
fuel mileage, build quality, speed, room, etc.
I want to find a 343 with hp500 motors but seems like it would be easier to find some dinosor bones.
