Default 38 Donzi ZR vs 38 Top Gun T/S

Same power/propulsion. Which one has the advantage all the way around? I'm not buying, just wondering. They both trip my trigger as far as looks go. Just think the edge would go to the Cig for overall security/feel in rough water.
Thanks for playing along.

As I understand with with the same power the Donzi ZRC is faster. All around best boat I would say the Cig. As you said both would be on my bucket list the next go round. Comes down to what fits your needs and budget. I am sure the Cig would command higher dollar for the same year and power.

Rough water capabilities would probably go the the cig, but top speed would go to the Donzi.....its the trade off that every performance boater has to face when buying a boat.

Zrc will run with it no problem in rough water.

Isn't the Donzi a bit bigger in the cockpit as far as width. It looks like the Cig has a ton more freeboard than the Donzi.

Kind of an odd comparison; a sit down Donzi to a stand up Cig? I have had a 38ZR Donzi w/525's; a 39 Cig w/700's and now a 36 Cig Gladiator...based on my ride experiences I would take the Cig over the Donzi anytime. The Cig feels solid like a rock; the Donzi shakes rattles and rolls. The Donzi's are slightly faster top end. I would consider the Donzi ZRC as I think that is their best boat.

Ok, not the ZRC, the ZR. I have them confused. I'll fix the post. I'm talking about the regular ZR boat with cabin, sh!tter & stuff like that.

Cig, the cabin in the ZR is way too small, if that matters to you.
What do I know, we just bought a 388!

My bad I read ZRC in the second post. Cig TG over Donzi ZR for sure.

No, you were correct. I was confused, as usual as to what I was talking about.
I like the Cig better too, just curious about the differences between the two in terms of overall likeability.
