Which fuel pump?

Which fuel pump?
271 Fastech w/ 496 mag engine runs only with starting fluid. Any idea which fuel pump is bad or something else is wrong? Ignition key runs pump on port side and there is power to starboard pump.Can someone explain which pump is which and maybe a solution without me spending a ton of cash at the dealer or replacing parts?
