I am brand new to this sight. Just bought a 21 Foot Scarab 1 boat and it needs some work but the engine has been rebuilt and the drive has some work done on it. I Dont know a lot about these boats and quite frankly didn't even think I would even ever get one. But it was a good deal and couldnt pass it up. Any way I just want to say hi to everybody and hope to get to know all you guys. Roger

I second DMOORE, this board is a wealth of info and one of the few places were a good chuck of the members are generally good people and helpful.

Congrats on your purchase and for finding the best offshore boating site on the web. We really do like to see projects in progress. So I'll repeat DMoore's comment. Take lots of pics and tell us what you are up to. You will get plenty of feedback as many members have done their own projects. They will likely inject comments to help you avoid pitfalls they've experienced.

You will love your Scarab. A quality, reliable mid-high end boat. It may not quite carry the pedigree of a Cigarette, Outer Limits or Nor-Tech Vee, but it a great V-hull with a huge fan base.
