Well due to this economy I cannot afford to pull my boat to LOTO for a week, but I still want to go there for a long weekend.

So question is who has the nicest maintained rental boats there. I plan on renting for just a day to run around and swim etc with the family. We are staying at Park View Bay condos.

Glencove always had nice rentals, good luck!

Iguana Sports Rental, has a real nice assortment of boats. Rented one a month ago and all their vessels are clean and in great shape. They have 6 location throughout the LOTO, ask about the 24 hr rental.... if you are wanting to keep it over night.

Really might want to re-think not taking your own boat, I did it once and it drove me nuts not to have "MY" boat.

Have considered taking it, but time and costs are winning out. I can drive it in 5-6 by car(obviously hauling butt), towing boat with all the fuel stops is usually 8-9 hours.

cost of truck diesel needed=325.00
cost of car gas needed = 126.00

Oh and the last 2 times I went to LOTO with my boat, I have blown a drive each time !!! My boat is jinxed at LOTO !!!!!!

It is just not worth all the effort to haul the boat for 2 days of use.

Try Surdyke Rentals... their boats are impeccable. Plus they have a new jet boat at their H. Toad location... as well as pontoons and waverunners. :-)

Ditch the condo and rent a little house boat

Can't beat the price on the condo....only have to pay to have it cleaned It's a barter deal.

Curious, what week are you guys coming and how many are in the group that are going boating.
