I have a 1992 24 outlaw and the engine hatch actuator took a crap. It just clicks but my problem is I have no way to get the bolt out for the actuator. Is there a way to access the bolt

sometime with one person lifting hatch and one holding switch it will come up.
i had a 24 ol and cut the entire back of seat out under cution and installed plexi glass so i could acsess and also see enginge room by just lifting seat...

On my 252 the perko switch (under the bench seat) is located close to the bottom mount of the hatch lift. If yours is similar you might try removing the perko switch (four screws) and reaching in to remove the bottom mounting screws on the actuator. Be careful with the hot battery leads.
