Default how to remove the seat in a baja 342?

need to put an sea pump on my portside motor its a tight fit! think i need to remove the top section of my rear seat but we cant find what holds it in? any help from you baja guys?

You have to look inside the side storage compartment and back. The first thing I did was remove the side combing panels then there was a access hole to get to the seat bolts. I only removed the seat base not the back rest. I could not get the back rest out. The problem with the seat base is all the electrical connections for the batteries need to be disconnected also. Then the base and part of the floor can come out leaving easy access to the sea water pumps. Not a fun or easy task.

This information would be great.

removing the bottom is not worth the effort i don't think. the 3 battery switches are wired in that wall and you still have a genny in the way. thats ALOT of work in its self


I just need the back rest out so I can lay on the seat and work. I am being told this is possible.

the back of the seat is easy to get out! remove the speakers on the side and stick you arm all the way back to get to the screew on each side, then ther are screews that go up from the bottom in to the seat back all the way across.
