Default looking at buying a set of used 502s to rebuild

OK, Who has a pair of good rebuildable 502s out there.
I am not a rich man either. Stupid me burnt up a 454 last weekend with seaweed in my strainer.
So I am looking into a differant Mill setup for a reasonable $.
I am a gearhead, so wrenching is not a problem. No rott please. If all else fails, I will rebuild the cooked engine for way less money. Long blocks only, no shorts.

Be sure to check ebay, craigslist, etc. and then I have seen the best luck just making a few phone calls to the service shops around you that rebuild these motors or do general service work. Often they have the blocks sitting around and they don't do full rebuilds. Good luck.

How much you want to spend?
I would call some of the engine builders, they probobly have some take outs that needs work.
Ateco, Cobra, Innovation, Potter.. a few.
Or give me a call. I have something in mind.
