FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared Radar) has been around for awhile, but the application of it in this manner definitely seems to be a good idea.

Still, regardless of what you can "see" at night, proceeding cautiously and carefully is a must. Not trying to be a buzz kill. Just want to be clear.
