I am currently in the process of installing new gimbal bearing and bellows on a bravo 1. Is the bellows expander tool really needed or can this be done another way? Any replies on this are greatly appreciated! I'm kind of in a pickle and didn't buy the tool unfortunately.

The tool makes it easier, I made one real quick when I did mine just cause I like tools
. But then it seems to be a hit or miss on whether that (exhaust) bellows is even used. Some yes, some don't and just use the tube style

Ended up using bellows adhesive as the lube. Popped right in there without the use of any special tool. Did the same with the expansion ring. Just had to make sure I was in the right groove first. Thanks for the tip
