I am currently piecing together a transom assembly on a powerquest 257. On the gimbal housing there is a small hose that goes to the bell housing. This hose is for the drive oil. Does anyone know the factory length of this hose? I have some but don't want to cut it too short or too long. Thanks in advance for the replies!

The parts lookup on mercruiserparts.com says 9.5 inches

I would trash those plastic clips that Merc uses and get some nice SS radiator hose clamps.....
